Story Update!

(( I will try to keep this updated more often than I have this past week. I’ll post story updates as to what’s going on currently/recently with our story. If you’ve played something you feel is important to your character or the story as a whole, but a moderator wasn’t around, please write up a little summary of it and email it to D! Please also keep in mind that in this group we are trying to solely move SLs along through play; some things will jump right up and slap you as a plot point while others are subtle for now but will come into play later. We realize not everyone can be around all of the time, so thus the story updates we’ll keep posted here on the Current Events page. We will also post about upcoming RP ‘events’ where larger SL key points will be played out. If you'd like your character involved more in the story progression, let D know!))

So far in our story …

Currently the MC is not considered to be outlaw. As such, the only income sustaining the pack comes from its members. Ten percent of any kind of income of any pack member earns is turned over to the current pack leadership (NPCs) for the ‘sustainability’ of the pack. They refuse to consider any type of new venture (legal or illegal) to bring in this income instead and have decided recently to increase the tithes to 25% of any pack member’s income.

Drake and Colton met with group of wolves they could gather together at a ballpark for an impromptu meeting away from the current leadership’s eyes. They shared the news they discovered about the huge amount of debt the leadership has racked up, the increase in tithes as well as their refusal to approve the pack moving to get revenge for Gerald Hardy (and mate)’s murder now that Colton is out of jail. There is also the lingering issue of Grimm’s father going away for life in prison for the acts of the leadership that has yet to be answered for. Drake asked his pack mates to spread the word, knowing that the only way to turn things around is a whole new leadership of the pack which will be bloody and likely fatal.

Recker has been rounding up several new wolves in the area, talking with them to convince them to join the pack; safety in numbers and comfort in being a family with those like they are. He has been leading them on runs as well, helping to bond with them and join them in with the pack mentality and lifestyle, answering their questions and reassuring their concerns. ((If your wolf is new to the area/pack, please let D know so we can work on scheduling out the official ceremony.))

Grimm, Colton, Hana, and Thaddeus were hanging out in the Revenant Bar when Elaina (human) came in for a drink. Colton spied fresh bruises and injuries to her face and wrists and inquired further. Mid-conversation Elaina’s boyfriend Steven (also human) stormed into the bar threatening her further and making wild accusations. Thaddeus left the bar, unconcerned with the events facing his fellow wolves at all; Colton and Grimm worked over Steven while Hana kept Elaina protected and guarded. Grimm took on the task of taking Steven out of the bar with the help of four prospects and to his property while Hana and Colton got Elaina settled at the clubhouse for the night.
