Raven Moonshine was born of two quite unusual parents. They had been members of a spiritual commune that was located just outside of Sedona Arizona. For most of her life, the commune was all she knew. But then there was a fire that spread through, and her parents, along with her baby sister was killed. The burden of raising her two younger siblings fell on Raven at fifteen years old.
The three children moved to live with family in Denver. Her maternal Uncle, Lee MidThunder and his family. While the family was huge, and loving, Raven saw it as her job to look after Eagle and Sparrow. It was when Sparrow went off to college that Lee insisted that Raven start to live for herself. She passed her classed in high school by such a small margin that she didn't think that college was right for her. But, even before she lived with her mothers family she'd had an interest in herbal remedies. So, she decided that she would open her own store.
Getting a loan from her Uncle, she was able to open up her shop, Birds of a Feather. In honor of her siblings, and the noble past of her mother's line.
