Colin is the middle child of three, though his younger brother died when they were kids. Leukemia. It was what tore his parents apart. Colin was twelve when the divorce was final, and even though he was now the youngest child, he took it upon himself to be the man of the house. Two years later, his father died from a drug overdose. Different people deal with grief in different ways, some more effective as others.
As a teenager, Colin found himself drawn towards anything and everything to do with cars. The way he figured, people would always need to get around, so it would always be steady work. It was at sixteen that he managed to get a job at the Frost-Hardy Salvage Yard. It was hard work, but Colin was more than up for the challenge. It was through the yard that he heard about the Road Wolves.
For Colin, the MC was more than just a club, it was a big family. And with how little and broken his family was, he wanted it. When he found out the cost, and the changes it would mean, he did not hesitate. The new gifts would only mean that he could provide for and protect his family better.
Through the pack, his family grew. He had brothers, and sisters. And he thought he was at the top of the world. Then, one day he got a phone call from a woman who he had a one night stand with. He had a daughter, that she was not willing to take care of. If he didn't come and accept her, she would end up a ward of the state. For a man who family means everything to, he would not let that slide.
Now, his sister has moved out and on her own, his mother insisted that she didn't need him around the house. So, Colin and Maeve live in an apartment in the city, and he is trying his best to make a good life for his daughter.
